Come work with Homegrown Bounty Gardens! We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Landscaper and Builder to join our team and help our company continue to grow. We are a landscaping company that focuses on designing and installing drought tolerant, native, and edible gardens.
Responsibilities:
- Installation and repair of irrigation systems.
- Plant shrubs, trees, herbs and grasses and landscapes as part of our team
- Construction of planter boxes, walkways, pergolas, seating areas and other garden features.
- garden maintenance
- Move dirt, rocks, equipment, tools, and other materials as needed.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate should have excellent problem solving skills and organizational skills. They must also be able to follow directions, provide clear communication, ask questions, and work well in a team.
- You must have a car, a driver's license and a clean driving record.
- You must be able to demonstrate legal capacity to work in the US.
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds and handle the physical ability of the job, including standing, bending, lifting, pulling, digging, and climbing.
Ideal skills:
- An ideal candidate is someone who speaks English and Spanish, but it is not necessary (we are bilingual)
- 2 years of landscaping or construction experience.
- Carpentry experience
- Irrigation experience
- Experience working with plants.
Compensation:
- $20/hour , depending on experience, with room to grow within the company
- Health insurance available
- Worker's Comp Available
The job is usually available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. m. to 4 p.m. m., except holidays. However, occasional short gaps between projects may occur.
